Value of a deck, patio, or pergola project

The National Association of Realtors conducted a study in 2017 to measure the satisfaction and value that homeowners felt after completing a variety of home remodeling and building projects. The study found that over 80% of homeowners felt a stronger desire to stay home after significant projects like a backyard patio, deck, pergola, or backyard living room was completed. In fact, that same study also listed these types of projects to have a strong impact on appeal to buyers along with a strong value for the resale of the home. Remodeling your backyard space is a win-win project as you feel have a greater sense of enjoyment at home and then when you are ready to sell your home, buyers will find your house more appealing.

Upgrade your cement patio

These homeowners had a standard cement slab off their back door. They wanted to have a more welcoming place to enjoy the outdoors. So we built them one. We created a custom patio with fire pit and added a roof with gutters and downspouts to give them a place to get out of the direct sunlight or rain.

Pergolas and hot tubs make a backyard more welcoming

Here is another backyard remodel project of ours. We built a beautiful wooden deck and pergola off the back door of this home. We added a space for the homeowner’s hot tub and created a very inviting space.

We have done a wide variety of custom decking designs. Here we had an opportunity to get creative with rebar. We built these beautiful railings around the patio area to enclose the space.
